Summer is coming quickly along with picnics, Here is a great recipe to take to the family barbecue!!

Even better is that it is Low Carb!!

Broccoli Salad

Prep time 30 minutes Chill 1 hour serves 12

303 calories 5 carbs per serving


1 pound chopped broccoli

1 pound chopped cauliflower

1/2 pound bacon

2 cups shredded cheese of your choice

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup stevia (or your choice no carb sweetener)

1/2 tsp salt

red onion (optional)


  1. Fry bacon to crispy set aside.
  2. Chop broccoli, cauliflower & onions into bite size pieces, add to large bowl along with 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese. mix & set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl combine mayonnaise, sour cream, sweetener & salt. mix well.
  4. Add creamy mixture to broccoli and cauliflower stir well. cover bowl and Chill 1 hour
